Whether you are an entrepreneur that is starting a new business, buying an existing business or maintaining a going concern, our firm offers solid, practical legal advice to help you avoid distractions to your success. Through sound advice, we can help you build a strong legal foundation that will help you protect what you are building.
Business Litigation and Dispute Resolution
In most cases, we help you resolve a business dispute before it turns into a lawsuit or arbitration. However, when a lawsuit or arbitration becomes an unavoidable reality or a practical necessity, we are prepared to lead you through the legal process. We work closely with you to ensure that our litigation strategies compliment your overall business goals.
Commercial Real Property Matters
If you are entering a real estate transaction, you need legal counsel early and often. Our firm has extensive experience handling all aspects of the purchase and sale of real property, from reviewing the related contracts through closing. If you are entering a lease, either as a tenant or a landlord, we help you understand your rights and responsibilities under the lease contract and Arizona’s statutes. Because we have experience in both transactions and litigation, with early involvement we can often help you avoid the problems that result in expensive and annoying legal battles.
Whether you are collecting your well-earned pay or resisting a hostile demand for unearned payment, incomplete or inadequate performance, our firm will help you to evaluate a prudent strategy to resolve your commercial collection dispute. In a business transaction, we also help your business avoid being the victim of ambiguous payment obligations, by clarifying contractual rights and obligations of all parties to your documents.
